The leaves are changing, and although it’s barely 5 degrees colder here in North Carolina, I am pretending it is 55 degrees and chilly. I want to pick up some new looks this season, and bring out some old fashion tricks I’ve got up my sleeve too.
Red is still in, but what about purple too?
Every fall it seems we all drag out our deep reds, and our warm browns to pair with our neutrals. It’s cute, it’s classy, we all love it. But what about a purple? And no, I am not talking barney purple, or lavender like the background of this page. Purple like the stain or your lips after some wine with the girls, or that purple/red color that some people dye their hair around this time of year. Purple is in ladies.
It’s all about the animal print baby.
Animal prints quite literally never go out of style. but something about the crisp fall air with a little leopard action is all that a girl wants. But let’s not forget about zebra print. today, for a knockout $13 steal, I picked up a zebra print cropped fur coat. I about fell onto the floor and died right there. animal print around this time of year just brings out some oomph to an otherwise seemingly boring outfit. Have to wear a basic long sleeve because it’s cold? No problem, spice it up with a leopard pant, or a zebra fur coat with some nice blue wash denim. Boom, that’s an outfit.

Micro Shorts are the new mini skirt.
Every fall and winter the girls throw on their mini skirts with their black tights and head out on the town. Although a classic, it is out in my opinion. Every now and again, sure it’s cute. Micro shorts up the anty a little bit. It does basically the same thing to your outfit as a miniskirt, but with all the more comfort. this fall I want to see the micro shorts paired with a colored tight. Maybe even a deep purple tight. That would be hot.

The bigger the scarf the bigger the slay
Scarves are back in, and thank God because once this temperature drops I’m going to want one immediately. Throw out your infinity scarves ladies, because big enormous scarves are in more than they ever have been. patterned, large, fluffy and cozy scarves are all of the moment right now, and it’s almost a double win because if you need to hide from that weirdo ex of yours, you can easily hide behind your scarf, all while looking fierce.

Goodbye to a demure summmer, hello feral fashionista fall.
